I’m Allison.
After fifteen wonderful years of teaching junior high English, I left the classroom during the pandemic to stay home with my two young sons. As life got back to normal and my boys spent more time at school, though, I realized I was stuck—I needed a new start, but didn’t know what that might be.
Feeling lost and directionless, I decided to do what I always do whenever life gets hard: I started cleaning. My kids weren’t little anymore, but still, every part of our home was overflowing with toddler toys and things we no longer needed. So, I sorted and cleaned, and got rid of the clutter.
The more I organized, the more empowered I felt—to make changes, to do things that scared me, to move into the next chapter. It was when friends and family started asking for my help in their homes that I realized—becoming a professional organizer was the next step in my journey.
And just to be clear, my home is NOT perfectly Pinterest-organized. I am, after all, a real person with a real life—one with a husband and kids and a dog and two cats. And real life is messy. What I have learned, though, is that resetting and clearing space can be a catalyst for change and movement in life—a sense of outer peace can create inner calm and readiness—and I am here to help others find that same feeling.
If you are looking for gentle, non-judgmental coaching and support with your own decluttering, organizing, and resetting, then let’s get started.
